Windsock flag is a conical textile tube that resembles a giant sock. It can be used as a basic indicator of  wind direction and speed , or as decoration. They are easy to use and typically used at airports  to show the direction and strength of the wind to pilots , and at chemical industry , environmental protection , agriculture , oil exploration . They are also sometimes located alongside highways at windy locations .

Our lightweight windsock flags are made of  100D polyester or 110g knit polyester that is similar to what an outdoor flag would be made of .  Just like outdoor flags , they are also digitally printed in full color and we can print any logo or  graphic you like on the windsock flags . They are finished with grommets around the larger opening and intentionally made with one end being narrower than the other end , with this special design , when air is forced through the larger opening and out the narrower opening , it will force the windsock flag to inflate .

All of our windsock flags are printed using superior quality dye sublimation equipment on polyester fabric , this means that the ink dyes the fabric material instead of being applied to the surface , it makes your windsock flags more durable and easier to clean if they were to get dirty.

The standard sizes we suggest for your windsock flags are 6″ X  24″,  8″ X 36″, 10″ X  36″,  18″ X 48″, 18″ X  60″ and  18″ X 72″ ,  also we are fully open to any possible measurement of  your choice for your windsock flags. 2、Do You Have A Minimum Quantity Or Accept A Small Order ?

By using our digital printing process, we can do order from 1pcs. That means we do not have a minimum quantity of one order. But 1pcs or small quantity order is more suitable for long term cooperation business or preproduction sample, it’s not so cost-effective for one time order.

4、What’s Your Payment Term ?

5、What Are Windsock Flags Used For ?

The windsock flags can be used to tell you windspeed and wind direction .

To understand wind direction, you need to look at the direction in which the narrow end of the windsock flag is flying , if it is pointing south , that means the winds are coming from the north and vice versa.

To understand windspeed, you need to look at how much of the windsock flag is inflated , the more limp the sock , the slighter the wind.

6、What Color System Do You Use ?

For best color matching we use the Pantone Matching System ( PMS ) and color match Solid Coated Pantone colors .
